Macarius app privacy and account deletion
Macarius Superstore app privacy
The Macarius Superstore app is operated by Macarius Superstore Ltd. This page explains app-specific data use and how to request account deletion. Please also read our store privacy policy for account, order and payment processing.
Data used by the app
Your basket, saved products and shopping checklist are stored on your device. You can shop as a guest. The native app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. Loading products and images connects to Macarius and its service providers, which receive technical connection information such as your IP address. Account access opens our secure account website. Shopify and your selected payment provider process the contact, delivery, account and payment information you provide when using those services. Their web services may use cookies and other technologies as described in the store privacy policy.
Request account and personal-data deletion
To request deletion of your Macarius Superstore account and associated personal data, email sales@macarius.co.uk from the email address linked to your account, with the subject Macarius account deletion request. You can also start this request from More > Delete your account in the Android app. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
We may need to verify account ownership before processing a request. The request covers your customer account and associated personal information. Order, transaction and other records may need to be retained for legal obligations or legitimate record-keeping purposes as described in our store privacy policy; we will explain any applicable retention when responding to your request.
Delete data stored on your phone
In the app, select More > Clear saved data on this device to remove your local basket, favourites and shopping checklist. This does not delete your online account or order records. Uninstalling the app does not delete your online account.
